My Project

Videos, textbooks, and theoretical learning are great, but only part of the picture to help students understand Physics. Many concepts are counter-intuitive and you have to do it, to truly understand it.

When students can apply concepts, and discover how science works, they are excited to keep learning.

There is nothing greater for a teacher than to have students excitedly explain that "it works." These hands-on experiences are memorable and can be used as a reminders throughout our unit.

The Newton's cradle seems like a simple prop, but can be used in teaching all 3 of Newton's laws of motion. It is okay as a demonstration, but more powerful when they can try it for themselves.
