My students need World map and continent map puzzles to learn about the world in which they live. They need Math materials to practice and master basic Math concepts.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
There is nothing more exciting to children in the inner city than learning about the wonderful world about them. It is so important for these children to experience life outside their neighborhood. These materials will give the children the opportunity to work with hands on materials.
My students are in Kindergarten and love to learn.
They love to touch and handle materials that have a purpose and teach a concept. These materials are a great way for the children to manipulates puzzles and learn about the different continents and countries. The children will increase their vocabulary and problem solving skills. The Math materials will teach them to grade by one, two and three dimension. They will also learn to count one on one with the corresponding number. These materials are designed so that a child can work at his own pace and time. The children have time to practice and master one skills at a time. These materials are great for the children who have difficulty solving a problem because they are self correcting. They are made of wood that will last many years and many children.
My Project
These materials will help my students learn hands on about the world around them. It will give them the opportunity to learn about their families' country of origin. The Math materials will give them the practice they need to master basic concepts. The wonderful thing is that they can use the materials over and over again. They can use the materials at their own rate and time so all children at whatever level they may be at will find the materials challenging.
My students will love these hands on concrete materials that they can work with and learn about the world they live in.
These materials are so important because they teach many concepts that will last a lifetime. The children will be so proud to learn about the country where their families are from and learn that there is a great big world about them.
