Our rural hardworking students are driven from hands on examples to engage learning. We are a small town in Wisconsin and extremely proud of our exemplary record of meeting the individual needs of every student. Yet, struggle with educational funding to allow for us to afford new technology and classroom supplies. The District has an excellent staff, and in conjunction with valued parents and community partners we provide excellent educational opportunities and outcomes for the youth we serve. We are a state and nation recognized leader in college and career readiness made possible through strong collaborative partnerships with leaders across our region in business, industry, service organizations, government, and post-secondary institutions.
High expectations, clear goals, and involvement are all hallmarks of the Mishicot tradition and culture which can be further developed with your donation.
We are committed to providing the highest quality educational environment in which our staff, our students, and the community work together for the success of every student every day.
My Project
I would love to add some hands on learning models to my classroom that will allow for special education students a more appropriate way to learn. Many of our high need special education students have a hard time using science equipment due to do unsteady hands, lack of communication and processing skills or vision struggles.
These models will allow learners of ALL ability levels to have hands on examples of science and agriculture topics in our classroom.
Larger pieces, magnetic approaches and plastic pieces are reusable and will allow students to feel, move and learn about science in our classroom.
