Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Math allows for students to learn through exploratory and hands on experiences. Most students clarify misconceptions and build on their prior knowledge when the lesson allows them to explore hands on.

Bringing manipulatives to my classroom will allow them to make concrete connections from the classroom mathematics content to the real world.

Your contribution to this project means my students can use their ten blocks for area, perimeter, volume, composite figures and so much more. The tape allows for color coding areas, glue allows them to put together their work and the white board is a great opportunity for students to calculate in a different space in my classroom.
