Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students love to do hands on math activities. Most if not all of them are visual learners! The majority of them come from low-income house holds & are eligible for Free breakfast & lunch. My students are eager to learn something new daily. Even if they are on the other side of the screen and not in school.
My Project
My students will be able to learn math with these materials. They will have access to learning materials at home.
Most of my students require hands on math manipulitives.
Which makes it easier for them to understand math. They will be able to make patterns with the Unifix cubes and see and feel geometric shapes with these materials
My students and parents will be excited to have math manipulatives at home. They will be able to see me on zoom and do the same Math activities that are being shown with the math materials.
I want all my students to be able to have the same opportunity as every student has to learn math from home.
