My Students

This school year I have 30 active students and they love to learn.

They are such fun students, that are so eager to learn all they can in 5th grade.

They also love to read as many books as they can. My students come from low income homes. They also love using technology in a way that helps them learn. They are very competitive. I love that all my students are so willing to learn. Some of my students are just moving into the U.S which makes teaching a challenge but they want to be at school and learn.

My Project

Having these VersaTiles will help my students during small groups. They will be able to have hands-on activities on all of 5th grade Math core. They will also be able to self check how they did. The extra practice will give them the boost they need in being confident with their answers. When you are able to do hands-on things you are able to remember those things. I have been wanting to do small groups for math in my class but I don't have enough supplies/ materials to start them yet. This will be a great addition to my classroom.
