My Students

My first grade students come to school ready to learn with smiles on their faces every day! I teach at a Title I school, which means the majority of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch.

My project will enhance the learning of 14 diverse students.

My goal is to provide my students with the best learning environment. I want school to be a place where my students want to come to every day. It is important that we learn and laugh together.

My Project

Math is one of my favorite times of the day. The math folders will help my students love math as much as I do. They each focus on a math skill. I chose a wide range of skills, including addition and subtraction. They will be used as a choice for fast finishers and as extra practice. Students will be able to pick one to work on in the morning. The folders will be used as an independent center while I am working with students.

I borrowed these from another teacher last year and would love to add them to our classroom.
