My Students

My students walk into my classroom every day ready to learn and excited about the day. Each day I strive to make sure my students know that when they are in my classroom and in our school, they are safe and loved.

I teach at a Title I school in Texas where the majority of our students receive free lunch and face much adversity outside of school.

Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful in the future.

My Project

OSMO Genius kits for math are a way to incorporate technology into the classroom and appeal to the generation of children that I am teaching. My students will use the OSMO Genius Kits to build on their mathematical foundation and much of these kits also allow for real world experiences and application.

Hands-on learning is proven to play a major role in the foundation for mathematics and what a better way to do it than by having fun with technology!

My students will greatly appreciate your generosity by donating to a project that will directly affect their learning and outlook on mathematics in general.

Our classroom was affected by Hurricane Harvey.
