I have a wonderful group of hands-on third graders. They are active and love learning.
We are a Title One school which means we have a large percentage of free or reduced price lunch students.
My students love to create, make and show their learning. My students need twenty-first century skills to help prepare them for the technological world. They need to be able to be creative and think outside the box with technology. They come in everyday ready to learn and excited for the day.
My Project
These fun materials will help give my students hands-on learning with instant feedback so they know how they are doing! The students can work together or independently. I can use the manipulatives in multiple ways to differentiate for different levels. The students will be engaged and it will help with visual and kinesthetic learners as well. These will help my students to grow in math by building their confidence and engaging them in their learning. It will show them math is not just paper and pencil. It will help to give them the foundation they need for their future in math!
