My students need fun and engaging ways to explore math. These activities can help me differentiate learning while helping the students review key math skills that we have learned already this year.
My class is a group of students who are eager to learn!
They have a love for being actively involved in learning and collaborating together.
My students love to engage with one another and share what they are learning. These students attend a Title I school in Jacksonville, Florida that is filled with teachers and students that are dedicated to learning.
In the classroom, they are not only students, but they are dreamers, creators, engineers, friends, readers, writers, and lifelong learners.
My Project
My students need hands on activities to do during our math block. When students finish their independent work for the lesson we have that day, that seems to be the end of math. With these hands on activities and games my students can continue their learning even after the "lesson" is done.
These products specifically target groups of students that need extra practice in that skill.
My students who are strengthening their skills in addition will benefit from the counting house blocks. Some students still are trying to master their counting and number recognition, the locks and dot cards can assist them with that!
These items will help strengthen my students math ability and help set a solid math foundation.
