Our school community is small, but invested in student learning and growth. Our PTO has generously made some large technology purchases for our classrooms, but now we are turning to the on-line educational community to make smaller contributions to help us optimally use the technology we have.
My kindergarteners are full of energy and could explore forever!
They seek to be actively involved in their learning, constantly asking questions and sharing new experiences. Each student could benefit from more hands on learning opportunities in the classroom. Though they never seem to nap during nap time, they are always eager to keep learning.
My Project
Currently we have a Smart Board in our classroom. With these new activities students will be able to learn at different levels, work with groups of students, collaborate, engage interactively in their learning, and participate at different centers throughout the classroom.
Many of my students struggle with math concepts because they are so active and could use a more hands on learning method.
If we receive these interactive materials I truly believe that my students' understanding and love of math will increase dramatically. This early interest in math will enable them to be life long learners.
