My Students

My students attend the All Day Kindergarten class at Willard Elementary. This means that after we receive the data from the beginning of year test, we take the 20 most at risk/lowest kids and they make up my class. Most of them come into school with no prior education. They need a lot of support to catch up to their peers and be on benchmark by the end of their Kindergarten year.

We would love some extra supplies to help support them in learning this year.

My Project

Many of my students were unable to attend Pre-school because of COVID 19. Because of this they need extra support in learning their letter names and sounds and blending words to read. These supplies will be a great way to get them immersed in learning to read and spell. The students in my class attend Kindergarten all day as they are the most at risk students.

These hands on activity boards will be highly effective in helping students to identify the names and sounds of letters.

Additionally it will transition into helping them spell and read.
