Help me give my students access to hands on learning in Science! My students will love watching plants grow, and using the STEM items during our Science labs!

The majority of our time during the day is devoted to Math and Language Arts, although we would love to dive deep into Science and Social Studies, too. My students love to explore and challenge themselves, and each other, in everything we do.
My class is full of bright children who are ready to take on the world, and be successful young adults!
They are excited about their journey in Mrs. Gammon's classroom, and cannot wait to explore what is to come this year!
The majority of our students come from low income households, and receive free or reduced lunch. We are also one of the few Title I schools within our school district.
As a new teacher I find myself needing basic classroom supplies, and of course items to keep my students engaged!
Students love seeing how things work, instead of reading why things work in a text book.
The STEM kit and being able to watch a plant grow will do just that. My students have inquisitive minds, and love to get their hands deep into science by watching how it works. Planting seeds and seeing them progress over time will have them wanting to be more involved in the process of nature. Also, having a STEM kit with various activities will allow them to use their thinking skills while building on what they already know.
I've also requested dry erase markers and chart paper because they LOVE creating diagrams and their own visuals after learning about a certain topic. The things they are able to create with just a piece of paper and markers are incredible! You can see a rain forest in a whole new light when they are done adding different animals and plants that they've learned about.
I'm excited to teach my new class about the various wonders of our life with these products in Science class next year!
