My classroom consists of diverse learners that need various materials to attend to their needs. My class roster varies from English Language Learners, that are just learning English, to eager kindergarten students that are ready to jump into first grade head first. My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
I work at a Title I school and my students do not get as much exposure to educational and learning resources that others might outside of the classroom.
A majority of my students receive free and reduced-price lunch.
It is important to me to give my students as many rich, engaging and meaningful educational opportunities as I can while I have the chance to do so.
My Project
These materials will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom is a place that my students really enjoy-we learn together and strive to recover from a year of distance learning due to the pandemic! Every student is thankful for the opportunities to read and learn. All of these materials have been chosen with my students in mind. I have watched them the past few months of school and know that the materials I have chosen will continue to enhance their learning. They will continue their journey to getting ready to be first graders. My students strive to be the best students they can be and your donations will help them keep going.
