My students need phonics games, stamps, flip books and other hands-on manipulatives and materials to participate in literacy centers. Storage and organization of the materials is essential so that both students and teachers can access the vast amount of materials.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Kindergarten is the best! We love learning in all different ways and each of us learns in a different way. Using manipulatives, technology, movement, and centers are some of our favorite ways to learn. Each day we challenge each other to learn the most we can and have the most fun.
Kindergartners learn best in small groups where they have access to a variety of materials that best meet their needs.
In order for this to happen, we are in the most need of literacy materials to help support our new reading program being implemented next year.
My Project
We are aiming to enhance our students' learning by providing them with hands-on tools, like whisper phones, interactive games, and manipulatives, to increase their early literacy skills. These activities are engaging and student directed. This will allow students to take ownership of their own learning.
These new literacy centers will foster students' natural love of learning and allow them to become critical thinkers and readers.
These skills are essential in our ever-changing world. We need both the phonics games, headphones, flip books and other hands-on tools as well as storage bins for students to access the materials easily and often.
Your donation will help support new literacy centers and spark the young minds of kindergartners!
