I share a classroom with 23 little learners. Each day they enter the classroom eager to learn something new. The activity they look most forward to is our learning stations (also known as center time)! During this time, the students work together on worksheets and flash cards.
Students learn best in a variety of ways and it is my job as their teacher to provide them with fun and challenging activities to do so!
We are in need of educational games, activities, and puzzles to make the learning stations more "kinder-friendly"!
My Project
I am seeking donations to purchase hands-on and interactive literacy activities to use in my literacy learning stations. Learning stations allow for a variety of topics to be covered in a small group setting. Currently, many of my learning stations utilize paper and pencil activities. I would like to move away from worksheets and towards utilizing more games, puzzles, and sorting activities.
Learning should be hands-on and exciting!
Purchasing hands-on activities will allow for more differentiation and variety of instruction. Games and interactive activities allow students to practice sharing, taking turns, and communicating with one another while making academic gains. I truly believe my students will benefit academically and socially from these products!
