My Project

My goal is the create a learning environment that feels like a home, where students feel safe and loved. Although the majority of my students are from low income, minority households, they are super smart, imaginative thinkers, that have hope for better futures.

Funding this project will enhance student engagement and increase the feeling of love and safety in my classroom.

By including handheld manipulatives in my lessons, I'm hoping it will build stronger memory connections in the minds of my 7th and 8th grade learners. These kids are deserving!
