My Students

I teach first grade and my students are incredible. They come to school every day ready to learn and explore. In order for me to maximize their learning experience we need an Osmo Kit and Osmo holders in our room. I teach a first grade class with many diverse personalities and needs. I have 6 English language learners and 2 migrant students. Most of my students get free or reduced lunch. We need to use hands on materials in order to help engage and encourage creativity, gross and fine motor skills. Please consider helping our class; it would make a huge impact in our classroom. So many of my students haven't been exposed to technology at home. Having an Osmo Kit in our room will help them greatly.

My Project

I teach first grade in a low income population. My students will need an Osmo Kit to use in our literacy and math centers. The Osmo Kit will provide an amazing hands on learning experience for my students. The Osmo Kit will be used in math centers. My students will be able to practice basic math facts in a fun and engaging way. Also, the Osmo Kit will be used in literacy centers. My students can practice sounds, letters, blending syllables and making words. Also, students that are learning English could practice their vocabulary words. The Osmo Kit will be an amazing learning tool.
