Hands on Learning

Help me give my students tools to help them be successful. I need some thermometers to help them complete science labs and math manipulatives so they can see how percents relate to fractions.

My Students

Amazing, Loved, Worthy and Adored. These are just a few words to describe my students. I teach an amazing group of 6th graders at a brand new school in the wonderful state of Colorado. My students learn best by doing. I want to help them tool to help them further understand skills.

These students are eager to learn and I want to provide them the tools to help them be the best they can be.

I am blessed to teach them.

My Project

My kids need some math manipulatives and thermometers. These resources will help my students better understand these concepts. Fractions are a difficult and often challenging to grasp, by having tools I will be able to help those students who learn best by visual.

My kids learn best by doing.

This will allow me tools to help them learn the concepts with hands on tools. Having thermometers will not only help my students complete a heat lab it will also teach them skills on to read thermometers.

We are learning about heat transfers so I need some thermometers to help them see the change. I also picked some magnetic fractions to help my kids see the connection between fractions and percents.

These will help my students understand how heat can be transferred and how fractions compare to percents
