Help me give my students a hopscotch rug, bean bag alphabet, color and shape toss and fine motor activities to help them develop their fine motor and gross motor skills.
I am a Preschool special needs teacher who works in a high poverty school. My little Preschoolers come into school ready to soak up knowledge like little sponges each and every day.
The students I work with are identified with multiple educational disabilities.
Learning is a struggle for them each and every day, but their enthusiasm for coming to school warms our hearts. These students rely on me to provide instruction that includes games and activities that captivate and inspire them.
My Project
The materials I am requesting will help my students with letter, shape, number and color identification as well as develop their fine motor skills.
A hopscotch rug and bean bag toss will help with students with develop their gross motor skills.
Magnetic boards will help students with their fine motor skills and will help them with pre-writing skills. Pattern blocks will help students identify different shapes and colors as well as work making patterns. Peg pictures will help students with fine motor skills, color identification and matching.
Special needs students need a variety of activities to help them acquire skills to continue to learn and grow.
