Our room is a multi-aged classroom filled with energetic students from Kindergarten to 2nd grade. The learners in our room respond to hands-on projects and love to move while they learn. Our classroom has students of all levels, from the students learning the ABC's and counting to students writing elaborate poems and songs.
Our classroom is filled with passionate learners ready to grow and be challenged every day.
Our school is founded on the ideals of collaboration. Our multi-aged classrooms provide leadership opportunities to all students. Each student is met at their own level and is challenged individually to grow and develop. Our school also collaborates with the community regularly and we learn the importance of being a good neighbor.
My Project
Our classroom needs a carpet this coming year as the carpet we used last year was irreparably soiled. We spend so much of our instructional time on the carpet and if we are unable to replace the carpet we will be sitting on the hard floor. A new carpet with set places for each child will be perfect for our class to get right to work during carpet time.
With a Breakout EDU kit, the students will be able to partake in academically based, hands-on, activities similar to escape rooms.
The students love to work with hands-on materials and will develop problem-solving strategies and skills. Having an escape room feel to lessons will captivate the imagination of the students and allow them to discover the joy of learning.
The pouches hanging on our chairs will help us make the most of the time we spend at our desks. Being able to have everything we need to learn within an arm's length will prevent lost supplies and lost time.
