My students need fun and exciting materials for their work stations to practice what we are learning! I am always printing and laminating materials, but I believe hands-on learning is the most effective!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our class sits inside one of the smallest school in our district, but they have the biggest hearts! They look out for one another, help one another, and most important, they make each other feel like family.
My students are the best!
Before our day starts, I ask, "Who's the best?", and they shout "We are"! I believe it is important for students to know I think highly of them and in what they can do. They are one of the most amazing classes I have had. They are hard workers, but when it's time to get the wiggles out, they love to move and dance! When it's time to work, we listen to classical music throughout the day. They really are the best students. I see it in their growth and their determination to be ready for first grade.
My Project
I am always on the prowl for fun and exciting materials my students can use in their workstations. Most of our stations are printed and laminated, but sometimes I am able to get a station together that is more hands-on and they LOVE it! I have noticed they get more out of hands-on learning than a printed and laminated station.
By receiving the following donation, our classroom will be over the moon with new hands-on materials.
The ABC stamps will have multiple uses in our classroom: word work, word families, making names, sight words! The bingo chips: counters, classification, graphing, sight word battleship! ABC tubs: introducing letters and sorting beginning sounds of each object and math games will be a great hands-on learning for my students!
