My Students

For many having the newspaper dropped off at your door is a thing of the past. With these TIME magazines I can help students use something other than technology to learn about real world/life events.

I teach to the 3rd and 4th grade level in a small rural school.

A lot of my students are hard working agricultural kids that appreciate life, nature, and what it has to offer. Most of them are busy helping out their parents before and after school.

My Project

TIME magazine for kids helps them use real world materials to learn, explore, and create with new ideas, opinions, and information. The students I work with really enjoy having something to bring home and share with their parents, I have parents that are very involved in their children's lives and like to be part of the learning process. These magazines will not only educate children today but will help them establish opinions, views, and gather information on world events.

This project is important because sometimes in a small rural town people can get caught up in the small town politics but these students deserve to see/hear/and learn more about whats going on ALL over the world not just in our area.
