My Students

My class this year is comprised of 21 bright, kind students. They have come in since the beginning of the year eager and ready to learn. They work well with each other and bring amazing ideas to the table. The community we have built and the collaboration I see every day is truly incredible.

This group of students is highly motivated through technology and hands-on activities.

Because they are so motivated and work well together, I am able to implement a variety of hands-on, collaborative projects that challenge them and push them to new limits.

My Project

In our classroom, we use Chromebooks on a regular basis for students to collaborate and learn 5th grade content. Unfortunately, we do not have enough devices for all students to be able to use them when needed.

Adding an additional Chromebooks to our room will allow more students to use the devices at one time in order to complete class assignments and projects.

The impact of technology on my students is incredible. There are many projects that we can do with technology that allow students to show their creativity. These Chromebooks will be used during multiple periods throughout the day in math, reading, writing, science, and study hall. The students would be thrilled to add an additional device to our class set.
