My students need hands on materials included in the thematic teaching boxes to help reinforce topics that we are learning in class in a fun and engaging way.
Every morning my students enter the classroom ready to take on whatever learning the day has in store for them. My job is to make their long day of learning as engaging as possible. I feel that the requested hands on materials will make their learning meaningful and memorable.
My students are eager and ready to learn.
English is the second language for many of the students in my class and my school. My classroom is full of new discoveries and learning adventures for them every day. My students take care of one another and take pride in learning and enjoy spending their day at school.
My Project
The thematic teaching boxes will help reinforce the lessons that I am teaching in class. I teach a life cycles unit, nutrition and weather unit every year. These amazing boxes are filled with hands on lessons and materials that I plan to set out for m students to pick up and to explore. My hope is that this will spike their curiosity for learning each topic and help to make learning fun and engaging.
While I do my best to make my teaching as meaningful as possible it sometimes lacks hand on exploration.
Learning happens in many different ways for every student. Many students learn through touch and even experience. This project will help many of my students who are learning the English language by giving them tools and materials that they can touch and hold.
