My students in my classroom are excited about learning. They love learning through hands on, engaging activities. In my classroom I have a very diverse group of learners, in addition to learners that have recently moved to the United States and are learning English. At my school we have a high rate of poverty (at least 75 %) as well as a highly mobile population.
Kindergarten is a very important year in a child's education and it is my hope to create a positive first experience where students are able to see the joy and importance of learning.
Currently all of the puzzles that we have in our classroom are broken and missing pieces. My students do puzzles every morning when they arrive at school to help get them ready for learning. The students enjoy practicing their letters and numbers with their friends by doing puzzles.
My students enjoy learning by doing puzzles with their peers.
These puzzles help support the themes and topics we learn. They will help students to learn their letter names, sounds, and numbers. These puzzles will also help students learning English through the visuals and pictures that they provide.
We would really appreciate the donation and these puzzles will definitely go to good use.
