My Students

My sweet students live in a rural area. Most of my students have never seen the world outside their county or even outside their yard. In my classroom, many students have never seen the items in our classroom before.

My students are very curious and eager to learn.

They are always willing to try their best. Like everyone says, " we teach for the ah-ha moments." In my classroom, I am able to see this daily and I love seeing their eyes light up when they have succeeded their challenge.

My Project

My students are at the age where they learn best by using their hands. I love being able to see my students play during the center time with different materials. My classroom lacks science material and technology. I'm hoping to receive the items I chose to help my students understand the world around them and capture their interest in other ways.

STEM is very important in education today.

If I receive these items I know my students will benefit more from our classroom. They will build their critical thinking skills along with working together as a team.
