My Students

My students are creative, fun, and love to learn! They are so special because they are curious about people, places, things, and have a determination to learn about as much as they can. Early literacy levels are constantly being observed and monitored so I, as a teacher, am constantly stressing the importance of literacy.

Reading and listening to stories are a passion of my students, and I am so proud to be their teacher and to encourage their love of reading.

My Project

These materials will help my students learn by using Play-Doh and clay in the classroom. It will allow them to experience letters and numbers in a different way than they are used to. It will allow them to be hands-on and take control of their own learning.

They will use the letter stamps to make words in the Play-Doh and to help them recognize the letters that we talk about daily.

The Play-Doh scissors will help them increase their fine motor skills and will also help them practice for the use of real scissors in the classroom
