My students come into my classroom from all walks of life. Their families range from low to mid income. Each and every one of them brings a unique outlook to life. They are all so eager to learn and experience being a "big" kid. They inspire me every day by their kindness towards others and their dedication in school. Seeing their smiling faces is the best way to begin my day.
These students have the very best attitudes about learning.
Every one of them shares the thirst for knowledge.
We need hands-on activities and games to help us learn letters, sounds, categorizing, phonemic awareness and more! All of these skills are crucial in Kindergarten. From day one, we start learning about letters, especially the letters in our names. We continue through the year by learning sounds, and eventually learn to make and read words. These resources will help me reach all students and learning styles throughout the entire year.
Kindergartners need hands-on and interactive materials for optimal learning.
My students are all different types of learners and these supplies will help me make sure that all students are engaged. These activities will be used in small group guided learning as well as in independent learning stations.
