My kindergarten classroom is full of diverse learners with a wide range of abilities and backgrounds. Some students have school experience; while others are experiencing school for the first time. As we introduce them to the world of academics, we spend extra time exploring how our bodies learn best. My students love hands on, creative activities that emerge them in learning. By supporting this project you are helping young learners get the tools needed for active hands on learning through play.
My students are active learners. They love sensory activities like playdough and painting. They work on fine motor skills through creating art pieces, and bracelets. They learn best through creative, hands on activities. This project will supply extra tools for interactive learning. Students will be able to manipulate letters to write sight words, names, and letter sounds through hands on play, and art projects. Our favorite way to learn is through play! These materials will give us new ways to explore reading and writing. Materials like playdough, bingo markers, and beads make learning how to read and write fun. The best is watching them adapt lessons to their own needs an interests. We look forward to using these new materials to learn! Thank you for your generous donations!
