My scholars attend a charter school that serves an intentionally diverse population of four different communities in Rhode Island. My scholars work hard every day to achieve our ultimate goal of being prepared for success in college and the world beyond.

My Project
Our scholars this year absolutely love learning! They are very hands-on learners, and love any type of activity where they are able to work as a team, use their hands, and build things.
Our scholars have limited time throughout the day to truly socialize, work with one another in a non-academic setting, and just play like seven year olds love to do.
We are requesting games that allow scholars to build, puzzles, and other hands-on activities so that we can create morning buckets for our scholars. Every day, our scholars will come in, they will complete one page of morning work, and then they will get to choose a morning bucket, which will be filled with the items your donation will purchase. Scholars will be excited about coming to school every day if they know they will get a chance to socialize and work as a team using hands-on games and activities at the very beginning of their day.
These activities will allow our scholars to get out some of their energy and excitement first thing in the morning so that they are focused and ready to learn for the rest of the day.
