This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My scholars attend a Title One public school. One hundred percent of the school population receives free breakfast and lunch. My scholars are active, outgoing and fun! They love learning with hands-on materials. They are engaged with puzzles and activities that allow them to use their hands and move around. They also love to work together!
My scholars come to school each day ready to try new things!
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are!
They inspire me everyday to do my best and put my all into everything, because they love to learn so much!
My Project
These materials will make a difference in my scholars' learning by allowing them to work together in hands-on activities to build phonemic awareness. My scholars will learn letter sounds and become new readers while being engaged in these activities. My scholars will also become super mathematicians while using these products.
My scholars are outgoing and love to learn!
These products will keep them engaged while also helping them learn during math and literacy center rotations. This is their favorite time of the day because they get to work together on engaging activities and puzzles. These products will allow me to rotate activities throughout the year to keep them interested in learning the new material.
