My students need sensory tubs, magnetic fishing games, unifix cube trays, magnetic boards, light up math centers, pegs and peg boards, and large dice to develop fine motor and math skills.
My students are energetic and eager little learners who come to me each day with a desire to learn. My students are children of military parents and deal with so many more situations than most adults do due to the deployment of parents, moving every two to three years, and having to start over again.
They are sponges just waiting to soak up whatever information that they can.
I strive daily to provide them with a safe and inviting learning environment and make learning fun and relevant for them.
My Project
My students need math manipulatives and games to learn and develop early learning math skills. They also need magnetic boards , sensory bins with shapes and colors, peg boards to continue developing gross and fine motor skills. Early childhood development is all about hands on activities and my children love to have a variety of options to play with during our small group and free choice center time. Developmentally appropriate practices are always hands on and engaging for little learners. It may seem like it's just play to them, but it is such a great way of learning new skills that is fun for them.
