Help me give my students more hands-on experiences to supplement the course instruction with some exciting new materials (modeling DNA, food nutrient analysis, and a bacteria and antibiotic resistance kits)!
My students are motivated, determined, and competitive young adults. They are respectful and strive for excellence. I enjoy their personalities and their excitement for exploring new learning experiences.
My students push themselves to be high achievers and are engaged daily.
These students are continually working to reach their goals and continue to excel. I enjoy their curiosity and inquiring minds, and hope to continue to inspire them as they learn. When they come back to class with stories of the application of our learning, or something in the real world that they related it to, I know they have grown intellectually.
My Project
The addition of these resources within my content would help solidify my students learning and help them to grasp what they've learned more clearly. These will create more of a student centered classroom where they are the directors of their learning and exploring and will be acting as scientists! My students love when we get to learn in a different way and to visualize their learning, and this would allow us to do exactly that. It excites them, it excites me, and the light bulb moments are seen all over the classroom, which is one of my primary goals as an educator!
