We are excited to learn and grow this year in Kindergarten! Students at CRES always reach for the stars when it comes to their learning and enjoy doing this through ands on, engaging experiences. We look forward to learning together this year and need your help to do this. Since we are a high performing school in our County, we don't receive as much assistance financially from the County/State. That means we have access to less hands on materials than other schools. That's not to say that we don't have students who need it, because we do. I greatly appreciate any support that can be given to provide my Kindergarten students with the things that they need to successfully learn. We all know that Kindergartners requires lots of hands on experiences (it is how they learn best). Thanks for helping us learn and grow this year!
My Project
Students will be able to interact with the content/standards in a tangible way that is meaningful and fun to them. It will help to increase students understanding of concepts and retention of knowledge gained. Through the use of games, students will take an active role in their education and will be more willing to learn new material. I am confident that they will develop a love of learning and ultimately a love of school. After all, that is one of the main goals in Kindergarten ,"to develop a life long love of learning and school!" We can't wait to get our hands on these materials!
