My Students

This year I have 9 girls and 8 boys. We are focusing on getting the children ready for kindergarten. In focusing on the children we are also bringing in the parents so they can assist their child at home as well. This a beautiful partnership we have. The children thrive with hands-on learning and activities to aid in their development. Their social skills have enhanced over the last few months. My children are so excited about learning through play.

My Project

The materials requested will assist the children in getting ready for kindergarten. They will learn through play and hands-on learning to engage them. The dough and mats will assist in them retaining information in a fun way. They will be able to communicate with peers in a fun imaginative way in which some of their senses will be involved. The items requested are minimal and will be a great start for my classroom this school year. It will even help the students that will come after these children go on to kindergarten. It will open up another avenue in which they can learn.
