My Students

My classroom is a special education preschool program. My students include a diverse group, with a wide variety of academic and behavioral needs ages 3-4 all who have an IEP. All of my students use a picture system to communicate. We enjoy highly engaging hands on materials for our daily learning.

My Project

We will use these materials in our classroom to continue building and developing our skills in all areas of development. Several of these materials will be used to strengthen our fine motor skills. Students need these skills to begin writing and controlling writing tools. We also play games in our classroom to work on fine motor development, taking turns, and sportsmanship.

Some of these materials will be used as part of our thematic units in preschool.

The pretend washing machine and laundry set will be part of a pretend laundry mat to go along with our Places In Our Community Unit.

I have also include a few classroom materials we use frequently! Cardstock, velcro, and lamination pouches are our most used items. Thanks!
