Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school is full of love and passion for learning. . Through the years educators have come and gone and this year we are starting a new evolution of teaching. We are the only school in our district with emotional support dogs. The school centers on the well-being of staff and students and creating a comfortable environment for all.
The students are so excited and eager to take part in such a wonderful learning experience.
My students come in with a love for learning and drive to be the best students they can be.
The students are so compassionate towards one another and so willing to help. In our classroom it is a safe zone. We share our hardships and give are all to be the best we can to one another.
My Project
My classroom philosophy is if you give them the tools, they will learn. I will use these tools to foster independence and social skills. Students can choose an activity to work on independently or with a friend to strengthen their skills.
Students will learn through games, books, and hands-on tools.
Learning should be fun and engaging and in kindergarten we need to keep them coming back for more. Student's will learn how to work together, follow rules, and choose engaging tasks to learn and grow.
Moving from teaching 5th grade, I do not have many primary tools, and I am excited to bring these to my students!
