Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Some of Beaumonts finest little residence happen to spend 6 plus hours five days a week in room 21 at three rings ranch elementary school and I'm lucky enough to be called their teacher. These budding young minds would greatly benefit from some much needed manipulates. Our school is made up of roughly 45% of the students receiving free or reduced-price lunch.
This makes it difficult to ask for and receive classroom donations from students and their families.
With the requested materials, my students will create, develop their critical thinking skills and have fun by doing!
My Project
The manipulates that I've selected will provide my students with ample opportunities all day long to create, discuss, develop critical thinking skills, and have fun learning. By helping to fund this project my budding 5 and 6 year olds will be provided with learning opportunities they otherwise may not have at school or even at home. The STEM kit, puzzles, and Magnification Station that I've selected would allow my budding scientists to explore magnetism, motion, and buoyancy by providing my them with such experiments and engineering opportunities my 24 little ones will be on the path to being college and career ready! Not a moment will be wasted as hands-on learning will be taking place all day long!
