Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our school, students are excited to participate in hands-on ecology lessons.

Although the materials in this project are simple, they will help accelerate student learning by giving teachers the tools to implement creative and dynamic lessons.

The storage bags, potting mix and paper plates will be used in lessons that range from creating soda bottle terrariums, a creative food web lesson, a nitrogen cycle project, and an interactive carrying capacity lesson.

These materials will be used in activities that will help students gain an in-depth understanding of concepts such as biodiversity, the cycling of energy and matter, and human impact and responsibility to the environment.
