This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a group of tenacious learners who are inspired by each other! Their drive to work collaboratively and aide those around them in their learning journey is truly heartening. Even though many of my students are below grade level in both math and reading, they enter the classroom each day eager to tackle the next challenge with their peers.

Their collective joyous nature is contagious!

My Project

These resources will give my students the opportunity to explore the technology of tomorrow while developing conceptual understandings that will propel them forward in their learning. The Osmos Starter Kit is a digital tool students can use to play educational games while reinforcing key skills in numeracy and literacy.

I envision students working in pairs to enhance collaboration while working with Osmos on the iPad as part of station rotations open during various parts of the day.

With the longevity of these products students will be able to actively engage in this learning platform for years to come.
