I am so excited for this next school year of my new first graders! This upcoming school year will be my 7th year teaching and my 4th year teaching 1st grade! I will be new to this school so I am not familiar with my new friends that I will meet in a few months however, what I can tell you is the area where my students thrive and learn everyday are coming from the low economic side of town. These students travel miles and miles to get to our school 5 days a week. Many of these students' families would benefit from financial support, so my goal is to provide a safe and fun environment home away from home.
My Project
This project will allow my students to learn while creating and using different motor skills to understand their reading and mathematics academic. When students get to physically create the way they learned, they are able to understand and grasp of the multi level concepts we learn every day in first grade. Please help my first graders become the best learners they can be they having fun.
