My Students
My first grade class is a unique diverse group of students. They come from different cultural backgrounds and are very excited about the upcoming school year (and so am I). My class needs differentiated instruction in order to help my students with different multiple intelligences and learning styles.
My students are eager to explore and learn in different and special ways.
They are remarkable kids and they deserve an extraordinary education. My creativity and the teaching tools will help my kids develop the necessary skills.
My Project
My unique students need differentiated instruction. The activities chosen are not only based on curriculum, but on student interest and active learning. The listening center will provide the students the listening skills they need, in addition to science, math and language arts development. Throughout activities, fun and hands-on centers the students will be instructed, not only as a whole group, but in small groups and one to one instruction.
The activity centers include puzzles, experiments, exploration and much more.
They are tools that will benefit the students for class subjects and for real life situations. By rotating in centers the students will learn how to work independently, work in groups and collaborate with each other.
