Help me give my students engineering and building toys including magnetic tiles and a master builder set to keep them engaged in learning through play.
Our students are kind, curious, and eager to learn new things. They are always excited to try hands-on building activities. Our young learners enjoy trying new technology tools and applications. It's a big deal to be able to check out library books, and they are lucky to have so many books to choose from. Our students are so enthusiastic about the activities we do to support our read-alouds. They can't get enough of our STEAM-based centers! Our PreK and kindergarten students are overwhelmed by the massive library collection and space. They need a space that suits them developmentally and materials that are safe and age-appropriate. Most importantly, my students love to explore the world around them through thoughtful, fun and silly children's books!
My Project
Our PreK-2nd grade learners are naturally inquisitive, curious and enthusiastic. We can inspire them to engineer creative designs through meaningful play. STEAM-based centers will help our readers make connections to our library read-alouds. In our architecture study, learners will build their own dream homes using the donated materials! As we meet innovative scientists and tinkering inventors in the books we adore, students will have the chance to emulate their favorite characters and create unique designs and prototypes. Each of the items selected was chosen to promote open-ended learning through play. Our young learners thrive when given the opportunity to gets their hands, bodies and minds busy!
