This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach music to all of the students at my school. We sing and dance all day. It sure is fun. They vary in age, but music is forever.
My students do not know music as I do and I want to teach them the ways of music through instruments and sound.
Music is sweet to the ear, pure and peaceful. Students should experience music through play and sound. My students vary from ages four to ten. They all come from a variety of homes and situations. My students need these materials to successfully accomplish real music comprehension and appreciation. My students are in need of many things, such as love, attention and classroom materials. It is my goal to see to it that they are taken care of, as well as taught music.
My Project
I teach a variety of ages from pre-K age to 5th grade and they do enjoy the sounds of music. The children want to know more about notes and the varying sounds. I am focused on projects that feature music-making instruments that will benefit the entire student body.
Whether pop, jazz, country, soul, classical, or anything in between, music provides a powerful way for people to celebrate their humanity and connect with something larger than themselves!
This project is asking for handbells that offer a variety of note sounds. The students will get hands-on experience in music and broaden their understanding of the different note sounds. Thank you
