Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach CTE classes. My students gain the skills to work with their hands and learn a trade. The students in my class enjoy working with their hands and using their imagination to create projects in a field of their choice.
I love it when my students see what they are learning about comes to life and concepts sink in.
It is a lot of work but well worth the effort. I believe that CTE courses are a very important part of a student's education.
My Project
We are working on animatronics as a club project. The focus of the project is to build ground up Halloween props for the club's haunted house. We are trying to finish these props before Halloween. The students will get hands on STEM experience in welding, wiring, programming and design. We are using Raspberry Pi as the control Unit for movement and sound
The students are looking forward to the challenges of this STEM project.
I believe it will be a challenging and fun project. The students will get hands on STEM experience in welding, wiring, programming and design. The control board will make this possible. Thank you for considering this project.
