This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Welcome to our classroom! We are a group of diverse 5 and 6-year-olds who love to learn and who are getting to know each other and ourselves in a safe and nurturing environment. We are active, creative, chatty and imaginative, among many other wonderful attributes.

We have our whole educational journey ahead of us!

Our room is the place that sets the stage for the years ahead and how we perceive our education. It is a fun and inclusive place where we get to be ourselves and discover what our future could look like.

My Project

The materials in this project will help support the wonderful work that my students are already doing. Markers are specifically one of the items we are in desperate need of, as they tend to go missing or dry out easily when caps aren't placed back on tightly.

My students have made such great progress this year, I want to ensure that the second half of their Kindergarten career is just as successful.

Not having to worry about the availability of day to day materials, I can focus on instruction and the specific needs of each child. Having everything we need for the remainder of the year will give my students the leg up they rarely get to have.
