My Project

This true and powerful Japanese story about a loyal Akita who waited for his master for ten years, it great way of engaging my seventh grade students.

Many of my intervention students struggle with reading proficiently for their grade level, and in order to help improve their reading, I would like to implement a meaningful novel unit that ALL students can connect and relate to.

This novel unit will be used to teach the elements of literature: characterization, irony, theme, and more. This is also the perfect novel when you are creating classroom climate of community and compassion.
