My Students

I teach at a Title I school in Orange County, Florida. It is at this wonderful school where engaging material and effective resources are scarce. The scholars that attend the school deserve to come to school and love school. I want my scholars to come to school excited about learning, and that begins with an engaging learning environment.

Students who attend our school are not just amazing, they are spectacular scholars who want to soar.

I have seen them do wonderful things, I just want to give them more of a chance to compete in our growing world.

My Project

GYTO is an engagement conference that will bring my classroom and lessons to the next level. I am looking for new ideas and lessons that will help my students master the standards in a unique, engaging and absolute rigorous way!

I attended the Ron Clark Academy workshop over a year ago and I have been thirsty for more ever since.

During that workshop the idea of rigor and engagement becoming one really hit home for me. I love watching my students master the content more than anything else, but sprinkle a little imagination on that and bam.... school life could not be any better.
