Gym Time

Help me give my students equipment for gym/health class. There is a projector, a large mat, and curl mats in my cart. Each will be used lessons and fitness testing.

My Students

The students in my classroom from diverse backgrounds. Each student is unique in their own way. Over half of our students are from low income families; however, our community is always willing to lend a helping hand. This makes be proud to be a part of our community. The students are respectful to one another. I am able to have multiple leaders from each class this year which makes me proud of our school. We have started PBIS and have seen great success so far.

My Project

If my project is fully funded I will use the mat for multiple lessons throughout the year. Such as; gymnastics, guided and discovery, and dance lessons. The projector will be a huge help for showing new pictures and small health clips to give visuals to students instead of using the same visuals from year to year. The projector will also allow me to post cues and steps for all students to see. The curl up mats will be used for fitness testing, yoga, and students with injuries that are not able to lay directly on the floor for daily stretches.
